Early in the year of 2005, I felt very strongly that God was going to orchestrate a great change in my life. I had recently turned 50 and was anticipating the 50th birthday celebrations with several friends I grew up with in Kinston, NC.

In March of 2005, I learned I had cancer and my desire to establish this website originated as I was recovering from a radical hysterectomy which was a result of a large tumor in my abdomen. The tumor was myxoid leiomyosarcoma, a type of cancer that is very rare. I knew God was in control of what was going on in my life and there was a perfect reason this came into my life.  It is difficult to put into words the peace and love God placed in mine and my husband Euel's heart and mind to carry us through the surgery and recovery. Last year, I read the bible from cover to cover and I know that prepared me for dealing with cancer. It is my hope that this web site will help inspire life for anyone who needs support, for any reason.

This site will be a work in progress, as I and others will share current and future information and stories. It will be about being friends, having cancer, and the experiences others have. It will also feature information about nutrition and God's instructions to us.

Let me hear what God the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to his people, to his saints, to those who turn to him in their hearts. Psalms 85:8
